Let’s brand with Nicole! Nicole and I met up at The Gray Atelier in Tempe for some new photos for her website and social media. I loved everything about this shoot, from the outfits Nicole brought to the location, to the crotchet boobs (you’ll see in a minute)! Nicole was also kind enough to join in on this post for a little interview! Enjoy and thanks for being here, friends! ♥
Tell me a little about what you do
I’m a pediatric Registered Dietitian and lactation consultant. I run the Instagram account @infant.nutritionist which helps mamas with all stages of infant feeding – from boob/bottle through food!
What made you decide to go down this road?
I wanted to provide an evidence-based and judgement-free space for mamas to connect and get the information they needed to confidently feed their babies. I wanted to start my small biz to be able to express my creative side versus being strictly constrained to the politics on the hospital-setting.
What advice can you share with other small businesses who are struggling?
Share what YOU want to share with the world – not what you hope others want to see. The right following will come to you.
What’s a favorite inspiring quote of yours?
“You don’t know what you don’t know.” There will always be things we don’t know and that’s OKAY! Be open to learning more and open to consulting with experts in other areas.
Can you share a favorite marketing tip with us?
Showcase real life – people don’t want the perfect, no-mistake BS. They want to see the real you and your real life. If they can relate to you, it really helps to build that know like & trust!
What are your five favorite things right now?
Donuts, prosecco, deadlifts, & Elsa.
What song do you listen to when you need to get motivated?
Baby Got Back by Throwdown (It makes me laugh every single time)

Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
