Tell me a little about what you do
I have been a wedding and portrait photographer for 7 years and I specialize in authentic real life moments.

 

What made you decide to go down the road to creative entrepreneurship?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur. When I was 15 I designed menus for local mom and pop restaurants. When I was 21, I made blankets and sold them wholesale to cute boutiques in Newport Beach. When I was 25, I found a way to take broken cameras, find the working parts of them and then sell those to camera repairs shops and finally landed myself a crazy DSLR. I’ve never put down my camera since!

What advice can you share with other creatives who are struggling?
Burn out is a real thing. Start the right way as soon as you can. Find systems, find ways to automate and know your value and worth. It doesn’t take long to get everything in place but once you do it’s so worth it. Also, invest in yourself as often as you can.

What’s a favorite inspiring quote of yours?
“On my own I will just create, and if it works, it works, and if it doesn’t, I’ll create something else. I don’t have any limitations on what I think I could do or be.”

Can you share a favorite marketing tip with us?
Be consistent… give whatever you are doing 90 days!

What are your five favorite things right now?
Ohhh hmmmm… well I hate to even say this out loud because Starbucks is my life, but I’m really loving Dunkin’ hot coffee. I know it’s strange to even say. Also, Netflix’s series “The Ranch” is awesome, I recently started working with Freedom Edits with their marketing and I’m obsessed, I literally love it so much! Oh let’s see what else…ohhh my puppies! I am equally obsessed with them. And I joined a Mastermind with Abbey Kyhl and that has been pretty amazing as well.

What song do you listen to when you need to get motivated?
Do I have to choose just 1??? Every week it changes. Right now…. it’s probably anything Avril Lavigne.
