My name is Denise. I'm a photographer, a letterpress printer, a clay artist, a plant buyer, a book reader, a fan of musicals and fantasy worlds and mexican food. I wear flip flops in the winter and will pull over to the side of the road to take pictures of cacti and if you see me out and about and ask me to take a cell phone photo of you and your group, the answer will always be yes.

Branding With Aisha

Branding

Aisha is an immigration attorney based in the Gilbert area. Through her firm, her work requires a balance of professionalism, clarity, and trust, and that became the foundation for our session. What I loved most about this shoot was how much variety we were able to get within a single space.

We moved through multiple areas of the home to create clean, polished headshots, more relaxed seated portraits, and lifestyle images to show her working on her laptop, reviewing forms, and staying connceted to clients. Each setup created a different way to show up visually, which is expecially useful for someone who needs to connect across a website, social media, and client facing platforms.

Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
