Carey is a brand strategist who helps businesses find their “true north”, and that idea carried naturally into how we approached her session. What I loved most about this shoot was how easily we were able to move between different sides of her brand without leaving the space.
We captured her in a more relaxed, creative mindet while she was sitting on the sofa, writing, thinking, and working through ideas. Then we shifted to more direct portraits that felt both polished and grounded. It all felt cohesive, but not repetitive. Her wardrobe choices also helped to anchor each shift, so in the end, it was a really versatile gallery. If you’re planning your own session, this is a great example of how to build variety without losing focus.
