This session with Arianna is such a perfect example of how much intentional choices matter. When she planned her shoot, she approached it as one complete visual story. The wardrobe and the space worked together, not separately. The warm tones of her outfit, the soft neutrals of the room, the natural light all came together to create something that felt calm, grounded, and safe. Exactly what you’d hope for when working with a therapist.

One of my favorite details in this shoot is the subtle inclusion of a stand-in client. You only see their shoulder in the foreground, but it goes such a long way to invite a viewer in and help foster a sense of connection. Thank you to Arianna and A Marie studio for such a beautiful shoot!

Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
