Are you ready? Because this is the team at Life Design Event Planning and they’re wild and energetic and absolutely fabulous. Seriously, I had the BEST time photographing them at Hotel Adeline last week! We wandered around, we took a ride on the luggage cart, we twerked and we sang Taylor Swift songs. All the ingredients to a perfect shoot!

This lovely Phoenician is Cicely, the owner of Life Design Events and all around awesome human! So of COURSE I had to interview her for today! Enjoy!

Tell me a little about what you do
We design, plan and produce extraordinary moments and memories through events.

What made you decide to go down the road to creative entrepreneurship?
I come from a family of entrepreneurs but being creative is a natural gift I inherited. My mom is a crafting queen, my dad designs beauty metal art and we all are musicians and singers.

What advice can you share with other creatives who are struggling?

“The number one way to succeed is to never give up” – Winston Churchill

What’s a favorite inspiring quote of yours?
Too many to list as humanity inspires me everyday! I love a profound moment through words. Alright, alright, alright.

Can you share a favorite marketing tip with us?
Be yourself and stop copying others.

What are your five favorite things right now?
Good deals on plane tickets for spontaneous trips, live music, craft cocktails, AZ weather and interior design

What song do you listen to when you need to get motivated?
No Easy Way Out – Robert Tepper (Any Rocky Fans?)
