Elizabeth and Shawn met while working together as Payroll Sales Representatives and rooted their friendship for over a year before dating. Shawn had asked her to go prospecting with him but it wasn’t until six month after that that they made New Years Eve their first official date. They spent the next three years traveling together and building their amazing and sweet relationship. Their puppy Cody joined the family two years ago and shortly after they moved to Texas. There, the three of them have been planning their perfect Arizona wedding and last weekend, I got to be there to document the day!
Elizabeth wore the most exquisite gown from one of my favorite dress shops, Uptown Bridal. She chose a fitted dress with a train and buttons down the back. She also had delicate diamond straps added which looked perfect. Her bouquet was a pastel mix of roses and Ranunculus with eucalyptus and Italian Ruscus. The bridesmaids looked stunning in Sage gowns from the fantastic Bella Bridesmaids (Another fave). Those shops will never steer you wrong and below is total proof! This wedding also had had a ton of great details including a metal map of the United States with a heart marking each spot the couple has been to together. They also had the best donut wall I’ve ever seen (With Bosa donuts… if you don’t know what that is, go eat some immediately) and of course, a sweet little bow tie for Cody.
Details and attire aside, these two were smitten, not only for each other but for their families. The attention and hospitality these two showed for their family members in attendance was so heartwarming. Through the day I saw Shawn taking time to spend with his mother and grandfather and Elizabeth also kept her mom and her new niece, Arizona, nearby. Then at the reception, Elizabeth joined her grandmother on the dance floor for a few tunes. I loved being around this group because their love for each other shone through every moment. Congratulations, Elizabeth and Shawn! The two of you are wonderful beyond words!!

Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
