Let’s see if I can put this into words. This last Friday was my second year photographing Night to Shine. All over the World, The Tim Tebow foundation sponsored a Prom Night for people with special needs. They arrive in a limo, they walk a red carpet and are crowned Prom King and Queen by Mrs. Arizona, they pose celeb style and they dance the night away. Each guest gets a buddy to enjoy the night with. There is a make-up area for some added glam, a shoe shine stop for the gentlemen and the limos keep running though the night because who doesn’t want another limo ride? My favorite part, again, was the dancing. I loved moving around the room with my camera dancing with each prom King and Queen, singing along with everyone to all the jams. It was such a special night. Thanks so much to Discovery Community Church for inviting me back! Sign me up for 2018 <3
Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
