Lindsay and Armando met in Arizona… Lindsay came first from Pennsylvania for school and almost headed back after graduation but ultimately decided to stay. Later, Armando moved to Arizona with his family and went to school at NAU. The two ended up working for the same company and after a year of building a friendship, made it official. Their connection was undeniable back then and still is today. Their mutual love for Disney kept them going to Disney World yearly and eventually, Armando decided this was where he would propose. He got on one knee like a true Disney prince and popped the question. Lindsay of course said yes and this Saturday, she walked down the isle to an instrumental version of “Beauty and the Beast.”
The Secret Garden in Phoenix is a venue in the South Mountain Foothills. The grounds make you feel like you’re in the middle of a sweet enchanted forest…DISNEY STYLE! There are trees all around that create a soft light and little flower beds nestled at every turn. The bridesmaids wore lavender dresses with silver and pearl jewelry which complimented the wedding day perfectly. The bride wore a stunning ball gown with a lace sweetheart bodice and a diamond embellishment around her waist. Downstairs from the bridal suite, the groomsmen shared a toast with Armando who was rocking a patterned shirt and tie with a navy suit. His groomsmen were wearing a gray suit with navy tie which gave a gorgeous balance to the color pallet creating an inverted look. After fastening springs of lavender and white wildflowers on their lapels, it was ceremony time!
These two had a huge family that was there ready to celebrate. Armando got a full on cheer from his guests as he walked to the alter and I couldn’t help but smile and give a small “woo!” along with the crowd. When it was Lindsay’s turn, she walked arm in arm with her brother to her groom who was all eyes for his bride. The two were married under the green wispy trees of the Secret Garden, lit with the setting sun and twinkly fairy lights. Their first kiss was met with more cheers from the guests who celebrated until the last sparkler went out.

Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
