We planned their engagement session the day of Liz’s bridal shower, and the day of her hair and make up trial run. The early afternoon session was planned to take place at the Mesa Arts Center where we could find some nice lighting among the big buildings. I left my house a bit early to drive out and noticed the day was completely overcast. I called Liz immediately and asked if she’d like to go to the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert and she immediately said yes! I was so excited, we met on the bridge and spotted these wispy trees close by. The sun was so kind to us and I’m absolutely in love with all the images we got. The two sweethearts live out of state so this was my first time meeting the Groom To Be. Shawn and Liz’s little dog Cody came along for the adventure and he made his way into several photos, just for some added cuteness. I can’t wait for these two to tie the knot in April! Hopefully little Cody will be there too! xo Happy Monday, loves!
Hey. Do you mind if I tell you a story? One you might not have heard. All the elements in your body were forged many many millions of years ago in the heart of a faraway star that exploded and died. That explosion scattered those elements across the desolations of deep space. After so, so many millions of years, these elements came together to form new stars and new planets. And on and on it went. The elements came together and burst apart, forming shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings. Until, eventually, they came together to make you. You are unique in the universe. There is only one of you. And there will never be another.
